Shanghai Volkswagen Adopts MyClick Mobile Image Recognition Platform to Promote Lavida

(Business News & Technology News, 19 Nov 2008)

Shanghai Volkswagen has selected the MyClick platform to help promote its brand new car model—Lavida via a Mobile WAP site and MMS, delivering a unique brand experience to consumers, reaching end users with instant services and building up its own user base by establishing a new mobile platform. Shanghai Volkswagen is using MyClick to provide an interactive platform for mobile users to access real time information about the Guangzhou Auto Show by simply clicking their mobile phone camera.

Users just need to capture the Lavida airship image and send the image through MMS to a designated number to receive Guangzhou Auto Show information, arrange a test drive, enter a lucky draw and even to receive a Christmas greeting cards. In the next few weeks after the Guangzhou Auto Show, participants in the cities of Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Nanjing will also receive Lavida promotion information customized by its local distributers.

"MyClick image recognition is the new innovation for physical world connection. MyClick facilitates mobile users to get what they want anytime, anywhere," says Justin Tsang, CTO of MyClick Media Ltd.
