National Instruments Expands High-Speed Digitizer Product Line

(Product News, 14 Nov 2008)

National Instruments has expanded its digitizer product line with the introduction of three digitizers/PC-based oscilloscopes. The models NI PXI-5153 and NI PCI-5153, 500MHz, and NI PCI-5154, 1GHz modules feature up to 256MB onboard memory/channel, sustaining up to 2GSPS real-time sampling rates over extended data capture windows. The T-Clock technology synchronizes multiple instruments and allows users to integrate units with various hardware.

Users can build systems with up to 34 channels in single PXI chassis, all simultaneously sampling at 1 GS/sec, and systems work with all National Instruments software. The NI 515x digitizers work with all National Instruments software including the NI LabVIEW graphical system design platform and the NI LabWindows/CVI ANSI C development environment as well as other development environments such as ANSI C, Microsoft C++ and Visual Basic.
