BubbleTALK Named Best Consumer Messaging Service by MobileVillage

(Business News & Technology News, 10 Nov 2008)

Bubble Motion, the pioneer and global leader of Voice SMS, has won the Gold Star Mobile Star Award from MobileVillage. Bubble Motion¡¯s BubbleTALK received the award for Best Consumer Messaging Service.

"The Mobile Star Award confirms Bubble Motion's position as the global leader in Voice SMS," says Thomas Clayton, CEO of Bubble Motion. "We spend a significant amount of time staying very close to our consumers in order to ensure the best possible end-user experience and are incredibly excited and honored that this hard work and focus has paid off with recognition as the Best Consumer Messaging Service."

BubbleTALK is a voice-SMS service that allows the user to send short voice messages directly to the receiver's handset. The recipient instantly receives a notification which prompts them to listen, reply, forward or save the message. Voice SMS allows the user to convey more emotion and feeling in their messaging, and adds a personal touch to each message they send.

"People have fallen in love with mobile productivity and entertainment products, and there's a real desire to discover and share the latest and greatest—and Bubble Motion is among that group," says Gary Thayer, MobileVillage Editor. "This year we had a record 2,300 votes from MobileVillage readers who were eager to share their knowledge."

The seventh annual Mobile Star Awards program honors and promotes the top companies, products, deployments, and leaders in mobile and wireless technology. Winners are chosen by subscribers to Go Mobile, MobileVillage's free email newsletter sent to technology executives, mobile professionals, IT managers, developers, and top tech journalists.
