P-channel MOSFET in CSP Touts 0.4mm Profile

Fairchild Semiconductor's FDZ391P single P-Channel MOSFET comes in a 1x1.5x0.4mm WL-CSP packaging, offering a 40 percent lower profile than standard P-Channel MOSFETs and accommodating the slim form factor requirements of next generation cell phones, MP3 players and other portable applications. Designed using Fairchild's 1.5V rated PowerTrench process, the device minimize both RDS (ON) (74m¦¸ typical @ -4.5V VGS) and required PCB space, reducing conduction losses and providing excellent power dissipation (1.9W).

The FDZ391P utilizes lead-free (Pb-free) terminals and has been characterized for moisture sensitivity in accordance with the Pb-free reflow requirements of the joint IPC/JEDEC standard J-STD-020.
