(Product News, 5 Nov 2008)

AirLive has launched the second generation DVB-T adapter AirTV-1000U featuring TotalMedia—a media centre software from ArcSoft, an elegant new contoured design, and an enhanced antenna for better reception. Developed with the idea to allow users to "play their TV anywhere", AirTV-1000U is designed as a compact pen-size TV tuner box for easy transportation, allowing users to receive high quality free-to-air digital terrestrial TV broadcast (DVB-T) anywhere, anytime on their PC or laptop.

The new AirTV-1000U is smaller and lighter than the original, and is packed with an enhanced antenna for better signal reception. The new software from ArcSoft is an all-in-one media centre software that allows users to watch and record TV shows, display photos, listen to music among others. It features Auto Channel Scanning, Scheduled Recording, Time-Shifting, EPG, Picture-in-Picture, Multi-Channel Preview and much more.
