Crystek VCOs Rated at 3.9GHz to 4.1Ghz

(Product News, 30 Oct 2008)

Crystek Corp.'s CVCO55CC-3901-4101 VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) operates from 3,901MHz to 4,101MHz (3.9GHz to 4.1GHz) with a control voltage range of 0.1V to 16V. The VCO features a typical phase noise of -104dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and has excellent linearity. Output power is typically 5dBm. Input voltage is 8V, with a current consumption of 40mA (max.). Pulling and pushing are minimized to 3MHz and 0.5MHz/V, respectively.

The device has a second harmonic suppression of -20dBc (typical). The CVCO55CC-3901-4101 is ideal for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations.
