Telsima Base Station and Mobile Station Receive Mobile WiMAX Certification

Telsima Corp.'s StarMAX 6400 member of 6000 Base Station series and the StarMAX 3160 member of 3100 family Mobile Station operating in the 2.5GHz band are now WiMAX Forum-certified. The products underwent rigorous interoperability and conformance testing defined by the WiMAX Forum at AT4 wireless in Malaga, Spain.

The WiMAX Forum defines and conducts conformance and interoperability tests to ensure that 802.16 systems from different vendors work seamlessly with one another. Those that pass conformance and interoperability testing receive the "WiMAX Forum Certified" designation.

Telsima's StarMAX 6400 Base Stations' scalable architecture delivers the performance required for Mobile WiMAX infrastructure, with MIMO technologies, and supports the mobile triple play services of 4G environments. The company's Mobile Station meets operators' full mobility WiMAX service needs. Telsima's distributed ASN-GW solution enables service providers to address the price-performance needs of customers' mobility needs including metro-mobility & roaming.
