SK Telecom Wins Top Awards for Outstanding Annual Report

SK Telecom received top honors at the 2008 ARC Awards, which recognized the company for its outstanding annual report that effectively communicates its global innovative leadership. SK Telecom, which has won for the fourth year in a row, received a total of 17 awards, including seven Gold, six Silver, three Bronze Awards, and an Honor Award in various categories, which include Information Service, Telecommunications, and IT Service & Solution, for excellence in overall content, design, photography, financial data, and publications.
The ARC Awards, which celebrated its 22nd year, is widely renowned for its authority in evaluating excellence in annual reports. Every year, more than 2,000 annual reports from 26 countries compete for this prestigious award. With its long tradition, the ARC Awards is called the "Academy Awards of Annual Reports".
The international competition was hosted by MerComm Inc., a leading annual report evaluation firm in the US. The winners were evaluated by a distinguished international panel of 175 judges from the U.S., Canada, and Britain. The 2008 ARC Awards ceremony will be held in New York on September 18 for Gold Award winners.
In 2005, SK Telecom won three ARC Awards, including one Gold Award in the IT Service & Solution and Communication Service category. In 2006, SK Telecom received eight awards including two Gold Awards. In 2007, the company got seven awards, including three Gold Awards.
