Wavelink Appoints Stephen Bemis as VP of Worldwide Sales

Wavelink Corp., a provider of multi-vendor mobile application development and infrastructure management software, has appointed Stephen Bemis, a pioneer in wireless data communications, as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Bemis has been with Wavelink since 2003, most recently as senior director of channel sales.
As VP of gorldwide sales, Bemis is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Wavelink's sales and activities. He plans to focus on continuing and enhancing the development of Wavelink's partnerships both domestically and internationally.

Bemis has nearly 30 years of experience in hardware and software sales and management with a focus on mobile environments. While at Telxon Corp., since acquired by Symbol Technologies and subsequently Motorola, Bemis installed the first-ever commercial wireless data systems in 1982.
Following Telxon, Bemis was CTO and VP of sales for MarketOrder, a start-up wireless solution company, where he was responsible for operations, product development, customer acquisition and building a sales staff. He was also executive vice president of operations at Versatile Mobile Systems, a leading mobile device integrator, where he was responsible for selling the company's largest one-time order of more than $2 million along with annual sales in excess of $17 million.
