Codima Expands Codima Toolbox to Enhance VoIP Quality

(Product News, 3 Jul 2008)

Codima Inc.'s VoIP Management solution Codima Toolbox now brings VoIP Topology Views directly in Microsoft Office Visio, and combines pre- and post deployment testing, monitoring and troubleshooting into one solution. The new Codima Toolbox VoIP Management solution is an expertise tool that allows an IT Professional to perform both VoIP testing, and monitoring and troubleshooting prior to installing VoIP and during daily operation.

The integrated VoIP Management solution monitors and troubleshoots networks, in addition to delivering traffic simulation to view Quality of service (QoS) and automatically explore networks limits pre and post-deployment. The results of the traffic simulation tests are available as one page summary, and as a full word document that shows the results and predicted QoS for a large range of Codecs. The VoIP Management solution is capable of simultaneously testing multiple locations, for example branch offices, to monitor QoS 24/7.

Codima Toolbox now visualizes the topology of VoIP networks directly in Microsoft Office Visio. Bringing visibility into VoIP networks has a significant impact on how network managers can tackle challenges. The visual overview provides an unparalleled platform for troubleshooting VoIP networks and extensive information can be presented to others facilitating network auditing, IT planning and budgeting.
