COMMUNICASIA 2008: Axell Wireless Launches New MultiBand Repeater Platform

(Product News, 16 Jun 2008)

Axell Wireless, one of the largest European manufacturer of wireless coverage solutions using repeaters, is launching the next generation of multi-band repeaters for coverage solutions, the Multi-Band Fibre fed repeater (MBF) at this year's CommunicAsia 2008 in Singapore on June 17 to 20.

The MBF offers seamless multi band coverage in any environment including tunnels, metros, stadiums, airports, large buildings and other confined areas. It supports a number of wireless technologies including GSM (900/1800), WCDMA and DVB-H, and is perfect in installations where many operators share a single repeater or where the operator dynamically wants to add capacity to each site. The MBF offers high output power and uses convection cooling, thereby significantly extending the equipment's total lifetime and lowering power consumption.
