Redline Receives Frost & Sullivan 2008 Innovation Award for its RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX Products

Redline Communications Group Inc.'s RedMAX 4C family of Mobile WiMAX has received the 2008 North American Product Innovation Award from Frost & Sullivan. The Frost & Sullivan Award for product innovation is presented each year to companies demonstrating excellence in new products and technologies within their industry.
Redline Communications has received the award for its advanced RedMAX 4C family of mobile WiMAX, which enables carriers worldwide to deliver nomadic and mobile voice, video, and data services. The RedMAX 4C has been designed to deliver high-speed broadband connectivity to both residential and commercial users, providing seamless connectivity in urban, suburban or rural areas.
Based on the 802.16e-2005 standards for mobile WiMAX, the RedMAX 4C supports a wide range of fixed, portable and mobile wireless services including support Voice and Video over IP, broadband Internet access used to support highly valued education, medical, transportation and municipal applications, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and other advanced communications services. The RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX platform is designed to enable operators to maximize the reach and customer density required for a profitable carrier business model. The RedMAX 4C includes a modular, standardized (micro)TCA (micro Telecommunications Computing Architecture) chassis base station that is small, lightweight and easy to deploy. RedMAX 4C will also include a suite of indoor and outdoor fixed and portable end-user devices including laptops, mobile handsets and PDAs. Redline's new WiMAX offering is also designed to facilitate the integration of its existing RedMAX products with its RedMAX 4C technologies, providing operators a path to true mobility.
