COMMUNICASIA 2008: Basis Audionet to Showcase Next Generation of Online Communications Solution

(Business News & Technology News, 10 Jun 2008)

By Stephen Las Marias, Editor

Basis Audionet, one of the leading IP services providers to resellers, carriers, ISPs and MSOs, will be showcasing its latest soft-client application that will allow users to experience a whole new dimension of online communication at the coming CommunicAsia 2008 tradeshow in Singapore on June 17 to 20, 2008.

Featuring an intuitive user interface, Basis Audionet's new Communications Client combines VoIP and video telephony, Instant Messaging (IM) and many more in a single portable application. The latest soft-client from the company makes communication as easy as it should be: it incorporates https-tunneling to provide seamless user functionality independent of access technology and common network firewall settings, allowing the soft-client to be used in virtually any IP network environment, ranging from enterprise to residential to internet cafe, and creating value and cost savings made possible by enabling real-time audio and video communications.

In addition to its extensive range of call, contact, IM and presence management features, the Communications Client includes other components such as:
- Zero-touch configuration
- Advertising server integration
- Web-based self care portal
