Laird Technologies Releases Dual Slant 45 Suite of Products

(Product News, 5 Jun 2008)

Laird Technologies Inc. has launched its suite of Dual Slant 45 WiMax base station antennas that operate across the 2.5GHz and the 3.5GHz frequency band. These WiMax antennas are small, offer consistent and reliable performance, and are designed to be fully compliant with ETSI pattern specifications.

Currently, there are four dual slant 45 antennas available: 65-degree and 90-degree (2.5GHz) and 65-degree and 90-degree (3.5GHz). All of the WiMax antennas in this suite are ideal for Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC), MIMO, and other wireless wide area network applications. These antennas offer a highly predictable pattern and consistent performance that will be appreciated by operators deploying WiMax mobile and fixed networks. The high performance units provide polarization diversity that enable operators to mitigate the impact of multipath that often results in poor coverage areas.

Other features include low sidelobe performance, excellent front-to-back ratio, and high level co-located antenna-to-antenna isolation. In addition, the antennas include a rugged tilt-mount hardware kit that is convenient and cost effective.
