InnoPath Software and NTT DoCoMo Sign License Agreement to Evaluate OMA-DM

(Business News & Technology News, 4 Jun 2008)

InnoPath Software will be delivering to NTT DoCoMo an OMA-DM compliant Server Simulator, based on OMA-DM (Open Mobile Alliance ¨C Device Management) standards, that will be used by by DoCoMo to evaluate OMA-DM service.

The Server Simulator, while optimized for automated testing, scripting and running unusual test cases, leverages InnoPath's DM Engine, ensuring accurate test results. The DM Engine is the core of InnoPath's iMDM Server, powering MDM implementations at some of the world's leading operators.

The InnoPath Server Simulator helps illustrate the company's dedication to mobile device management standards. A founding member of OMA, InnoPath plays an active, leading role in the standards organization with over 134 submissions and code contributions. The company has made significant contributions to OMA efforts with the Core DM Protocol, FUMO, DiagMon, SCoMO, IOP and other OMA enablers. Standards, such as OMA-DM, facilitate the spread of MDM, aiding interoperability and removing barriers to deployment.
