WiMAX Forum Global Congress Continues to Build Industry Support as Event Draws Near

WiMAX Forum Global Congress, the global showcase in the WiMAX Forum's Series of trade shows, has continued to receive industry support leading up to the event, which takes place on 17-18 June 2008 in Amsterdam.

"Interest in the show, from both WiMAX Forum members and the WiMAX industry has been high," says Scenna Tabesh, Director of Marketing Communications for the WiMAX Forum. "We are kicking off our first global trade show event with a sold out exhibit hall and a packed schedule of keynotes from industry leaders, roundtables and three daily track sessions. The entire WiMAX ecosystem, including operators, device manufacturers and applications developers, are all eager to share information and grow the demand for WiMAX broadband services worldwide."

Over 2,000 executives, representing more than 70 countries, have already registered to attend the event. These and many others will fill the packed exhibition hall to participate in exclusive educational seminars, training sessions, networking events and live demonstrations.

The main conference will feature over 100 speakers, including 40 operators. The keynote line-up of speakers reads like a "who's who" in the wireless broadband ecosystem, including:
