Alcatel-Lucent Highlights End-to-end Solutions at ITU Telecom Africa 2008

Alcatel-Lucent is featuring the full breadth of its end-to-end solutions to support fixed and wireless broadband multimedia services at the on-going ITU Telecom Africa 2008, in Cairo, Egypt, May 12 to 15. Alcatel-Lucent is demonstrating its innovative solutions, software and services developed to enrich the broadband end-user experience and to help transform telecommunications.

As demand for mobile services and new residential services increases throughout Africa, network operators need to expand their reach to get more subscribers onto their networks, and to create value through usage, which is all about the innovative and affordable services that can be offered to the end-users.
