Dalian 3CIS Acquisition Widens GlobalLogic' Reach in China

GlobalLogic Inc. has expanded its reach in China and North Asia with the acquisition of Dalian 3CIS, a software product development company with deep roots in China and Japan. Dalian 3CIS joins GlobalLogic's existing development center in Beijing in helping software product companies accelerate their time to market. The acquisition is part of GlobalLogic's overall strategy to build and retain the world's best software R&D engineers and help its technology clients enter new markets.

GlobalLogic's Beijing software delivery center was established in November 2007. It specializes in developing software products for the telecommunications, mobile, business and consumer internet, and embedded technology markets. It also provides go-to-market advisory and channel-building services for Asia-Pacific. Dalian 3CIS engineers will bring additional expertise in embedded technologies, voice and face recognition, and artificial intelligence. Its engineers are specialists in JAVA, .NET and C/C++ development.
