Moonblink Communications Launches Test and Repair Service for Wireless Equipment
(Business News & Technology News, 6 May 2008)
Moonblink Communications has launch Moonblink Communications Technical Services, a test and repair service for wireless equipment. Now in full operation, Moonblink Communications Technical Services provides complete cost-effective system test and repair services for radio frequency (RF) components, signal processing, control devices, power supplies and external interfaces. Testing and verification services include simulated field traffic testing, external interface verification and advanced RF analysis.
Technical Services has a proven track record for servicing equipment from major manufacturers including Motorola, Proxim Wireless, Harris Stratex Networks, ADTRAN, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks. Among the equipment that can benefit from this service are subscriber modules, access points and backhaul radios operating at 900MHz, 2.4GHz, 5GHz and licensed frequencies.
Moreover, all test and repair services are backed by a one-year warranty. "One year repair service warranties are unheard of in our industry," says Daniel Redmond, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Moonblink. "It goes to show how confident we are that the equipment will be properly evaluated, diagnosed, repaired and verified."
The test and repair service employs a two-pronged approach to ensure reliable high-yield repairs. System-level testing is used to guarantee the equipment is fully functional and can be seamlessly integrated into a network. Additionally, product-specific tests are developed to screen for component failures and near-failures, and to verify full product compliance.
