Firmware Update Enables Flexibility for Phase Noise, Jitter Measurements
( 1 May 2008 )
Agilent Technologies Inc. has released a new firmware for its E5052B Signal Source Analyzer, making it more convenient and flexible for use in phase noise and jitter measurements. Featuring an automatic PN measurement setting, context-sensitive online help and Equation Editor, the firmware update is well suited for designers and manufacturers of RF and microwave wireless communications systems, high-speed digital circuits and aerospace/defense applications.
The Agilent E5052B Signal Source Analyzer with the Revision 3.1 firmware update is used for traditional high-quality phase-noise measurements such as VCO evaluation and PLL testing, jitter measurements and signal source analysis.
