(Business News & Technology News, 29 Apr 2008)
Aerohive Networks, creator of the "cooperative control" wireless LAN (WLAN) access point HiveAP, is showcasing its new 802.11n product portfolio at the INTEROP Conference 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas this week. In addition, Aerohive's Adam Conway, Vice President of Product Management, will participate in a panel on WLAN architectures entitled "The Great WLAN Architecture Debate", which will take place on Wednesday, April 30, from 2:00pm to 3:15pm.
Given the lack of industry consensus on a standard WLAN architecture, panelists will discuss the various architectural approaches offered by different enterprise-class WLAN infrastructure vendors. Abner Germanow, Director of Enterprise Networking at International Data Corp., will moderate the panel which will also include executives from Aruba Networks, Extricom, Siemens and Xirrus.
