Cavium Networks is hosting live OCTEON demos, ecosystem partners and 20+ Cavium Networks powered customer products this week, April 28 to May 2, at the INTEROP Conference 2008 in Las Vegas.
Cavium Networks is currently demonstrating two OCTEON-based high performance solutions. The first one is a complete broadband or home Triple Play Gateway with integrated voice over IP (VoIP) support and Video MPEG playback using an OCTEON dual-core based reference design. The second solution is a Unified IPsec and SSL VPN solution with Wi-Fi 802.11n AP using Cavium's OCTEON processor and TeamF1's Secure Gateway Solution, a comprehensive turnkey software package that combines a rich set of field-proven, standard components with an array of customizable options to provide OEMs/ODMs with increased product flexibility.
Ecosystem Partners at INTEROP Cavium Networks' Hardware ODM partners will demonstrate a wide range of custom, flexible motherboards, ATCA boards and software solutions for networking OEMs and server applications within Cavium's booth. Furukawa will display an OCTEON-based multiservice router which delivers up to 20Gbps VPN performance at small packets. GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms will demo a broad portfolio of OCTEON-based carrier-grade scalable solutions including AMC, ATCA and PCI-X boards. LanBird will display an OCTEON-based ASN Gateway Application Suite. Software partner D2 Technologies will show their application and soft-DSP software on Cavium's OCTEON processors for VoIP and IM Residential Gateways, Triple/Quad Play Devices, Fixed and Wireless IAD and Enterprise IP phones. Wind River Systems will demo their operating systems VxWorks and Linux running on multiple OCTEON MIP64 cores with one common tools environmentWorkbench.
