Codima Extends Windows Vista Support For Comprehensive VoIP, IT Asset Management Solution

(Product News, 25 Apr 2008)

Codima Technologies has made available Windows Vista platform support for all tools in its Codima Toolbox. Organizations upgrading to Windows Vista can now install Codima's VoIP pre-assessment through post-deployment tools as well as the network inventory and visualization tools on their Windows Vista platforms.

The product life cycle for Windows XP ends on June 30, 2008 and is replaced by Windows Vista, initiating users to upgrade to the new edition. Adding Windows Vista support facilitates compliance for Codima's customers ranging from carriers to system integrators and enterprises.

Codima offers a beginning to end solution for managing SIP-based VoIP networks and visualizing all types of networks directly in Microsoft Visio. Codima Toolbox helps organizations to test and simulate traffic prior to installation and to monitor, analyze and troubleshoot networks in operation. The unique network visualization tool Codima autoMap further helps manage the network by discovering and reporting on the network and visualizing the topology of entire enterprise networks.

The network discovery and visualization is particularly helpful when organizations are upgrading to Windows Vista. Codima's IT Asset management tools are ideal for organizations faced with the often complex analysis and base-lining of system specifications and requirements for Windows Vista and help make the process of identifying and project managing the Vista upgrade process, simple, effective and cost efficient.

"As a Microsoft Partner and key solution partner to Microsoft Visio Toolbox we prioritize to support the latest Windows and Visio editions. Our users range from service providers and large organizations to small and medium businesses, and we are dedicated to serve them by expanding our technology into new areas and continue to be a frontrunner in SIP-based VoIP management as well as network inventory and visualization using Microsoft Office Visio," comments Christer Mattsson, CEO of Codima Technologies. "Our IT Asset management tools will help our customers in upgrading their networks to Windows Vista."
