Sierra Wireless and Agnik to Jointly Market Vehicle Tracking and Diagnostics Solution

(Business News & Technology News, 17 Apr 2008)

Sierra Wireless and Agnik will jointly market Agnik's MineFleet predictive vehicle data mining system along with the line of AirLink vehicle tracking solutions offered by Sierra Wireless.

MineFleet is a powerful data stream mining software product for both short and long-term modeling, benchmarking, monitoring and optimization of vehicle health, driver behavior, and fuel consumption. MineFleet's unique data stream mining technology allows for advanced onboard vehicle analysis, which optimizes costs by reducing the amount of data sent over the wireless network.

The Sierra Wireless line of AirLink products, powered by ALEOS embedded intelligence, offers a wide range of stand-alone wireless modems for Mobile and M2M solutions. For over a decade, the AirLink line of products has served the public safety, utilities, transportation, infrastructure and financial sectors.

With the addition of the advanced predictive vehicle data mining capabilities of MineFleet, Sierra Wireless and Agnik will be able to offer customers a robust in-vehicle solution that integrates elegantly with many fleet management applications.
