Hostcon Selects GIPS VoIP Processing Solutions to Power New Range of Conferencing Services

(Business News & Technology News, 6 Mar 2008)

Hostcon Technologies Co. Ltd will deploy Global IP Solutions' ConferenceEngine and VoiceEngine to ensure the best VoIP quality in Hostcon's Multimedia Collaboration Conferencing System (MCCS) offerings.

"GIPS' ability to provide unmatched voice quality across networks combined with the speed with which we were able to implement ConferenceEngine and VoiceEngine were the deciding factors in Hostcon selecting GIPS' solutions," says Sampson Cao, General Manager, Hostcon.

GIPS' ConferenceEngine is a powerful and complete server-based software product that handles all aspects of audio mixing and voice related processing in a conference bridge application. GIPS' VoiceEngine provides unmatched quality by handling voice processing at the client.

Hostcon selected GIPS' ConferenceEngine for its new Multimedia Collaboration Conferencing System (MCCS) product. MCCS is a distributed multimedia conferencing system, based on Next Generation Network (NGN) technology, providing telcos and services providers with a solution that not only enables them to easily launch and develop multimedia value-added services and applications, but also provides their clients with excellent voice quality. Hostcon will also implement GIPS VoiceEngine in all of its client software solutions for enterprise users.
