Rohde & Schwarz's Double-ridged Waveguide Horn Antenna Covers 800MHz to 18GHz

(Product News, 5 Mar 2008)

Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) has released its R&S HF907 double-ridged waveguide horn antenna that covers a wide frequency range from 800MHz to 18GHz, and improves accuracy in EMI and EMS measurements. The unique, modified design of its housing ensures high and flat gain from 5dBi to 14dBi without any gain losses.

As a transmit and receive antenna, the R&S HF907 can both generate disturbance and detect radiated emissions of devices under test (DUTs). During these measurements, the antenna's flat gain permits even illumination of the DUT. In EMC tests, manufacturers and operators of electronic equipment benefit from distortion free radiation patterns and obtain exact results.

The R&S HF907 is compact and weighs only 1.9 kg, which makes it ideal for use in EMC labs and test chambers.
