Iberbanda and Alvarion Expand WiMAX Networks in Spain

Iberbanda has deployed Alvarion Ltd BreezeMAX system at 3.5GHz in Navarra, an autonomous community in northeast Spain, in line with Iberbanda's expansion plans as well as with the government's requirements to bridge the digital divide

Iberbanda is one of Spain's leading WiMAX carrier and subsidiary of Telefonica. The expanded network is expected to add thousands of subscribers to Iberbanda's customer base and will provide voice and data services to residential customers in rural and semi-rural areas throughout the region.
