ANADIGICS Releases RF Amplifier for FTTH Applications

ANADIGICS Inc. has launched its new ACA2604 RF amplifier for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) applications. Based on ANADIGICS' ACA2601, the new amplifier features improved frequency flatness over temperature. The ACA2604 contains an integrated AGC circuit and features an overall gain of 24dB, reducing the need for post amplification in the ONT/ONU or similar subscriber end equipment.

Other specifications include: operating frequency, 50MHz to 870MHz; linearity, 65dBc CTB/CSO (79 channels); equivalent input noise, 4.5pA/rtHz; differential input impedance, 400Ω; and size, 5x5x1mm.
