LitePoint IQfact Meets Beceem Calibration Standards

(Business News & Technology News, 3 Mar 2008)

LitePoint Corp.'s IQfact for Beceem software has been qualified to meet the stringent BCS200 calibration standards. This is important because companies designing Beceem's silicon solutions into their wireless products are assured that LitePoint's calibration function meets the chip vendor's SuperCal calibration standards.

"We're pleased that IQfact made the Beceem grade," said Onno Harms, LitePoint product manager. "Beceem is a leading supplier of terminal chipsets for Mobile WiMAX, and many of its customers use our product-assurance test-system solutions for both development and production."

"From our vantage point, having development and production test solutions that are tailored to our advanced silicon solutions makes it that much more efficient for our customers to get designs to market and to deliver highest-quality products," said Angelo Stephano, Vice President Marketing at Beceem.

LitePoint focuses entirely on the wireless market serving IC makers, original design makers (ODMs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and brand-owning companies. Its common-platform systems, using software-defined DSP technology, offer tailored and efficient testing that spans the wireless value chain.
