PCTEL Launches Latest Wideband and Multiband Omnidirectional Antenna

(Product News, 3 Mar 2008)

PCTEL Inc. has released its latest wideband and multiband omnidirectional antenna for cellular applications, which provides broadband and multiband coverage for cellular technologies including various GSM, CDMA and UMTS bands in a single robust housing.

Featuring a VSWR less than 2, the antenna implements a unique design to promote flat 4dBi gain and consistent patterns across the bands. The antenna also allows deployments of pico-cells with optimal coverage across multiple bands using one single antenna. Operating in both the 806MHz to 960MHz and the 1.71GHz to 2.17GHz bands, the antenna suitable for indoor coverage, telemetry, fixed wireless gateways, and remote applications.
