Digi's Cellular Router Replaces Cellular Modems in Low-speed Applications

Digi International has released its Connect WAN GPRS, a commercial grade, GSM GPRS Class 10 cellular router that provides secure connectivity to remote sites and devices. The Digi Connect WAN GPRS provides secure GSM wireless TCP/IP data communications via cellular networks for primary connectivity to remote sites and devices in applications requiring connection speeds of up to 40kbps.

Features include Ethernet port, serial port, Digi SureLink for persistent connections over wireless networks, and Digi Connectware Manager for setup, configuration, and maintenance of large installations. The product also supports Python open-source programming language.
