Agilent Introduces Pulse Function Arbitrary Noise Generator

(Product News, 12 Feb 2008)

Agilent Technologies has introduced its pulse function arbitrary noise generator, which provides signal quality combined with versatile waveforms. It is suitable for general purpose bench tests or advanced serial data stress tests. The Model 81150A offers insight into devices and designs.

The unit features modulation capabilities up to 10MHz and more than 80 measurement types. Accurate signals test device, not source, with intrinsic jitter of 8ps rms at any frequency. Various stress tests can be achieved by adjusting crest factor, an indicator of signal quality using peak-to-peak and root mean square voltages.

The Agilent 81150A pulse function arbitrary noise generator is available now in one channel and two channel versions.
