Surface-mount VCO Operates from 1.6GHz to 3.2GHz

Crystek Corp. offers its CVCO55CW-1600 to 3200 VCO that operates from 1.6GHz to 3.2GHz with a control voltage range of 0.5V to 20V. It features a typical phase noise of -93dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset, and it has optimal linearity.

The VCO is packaged in the industry standard 12.7x12.7mm SMD package. Input voltage is 5V, with a maximum current consumption of 25mA. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 8MHz and 4MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -15dBc typical. Applications include digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems and base stations.
