Sub-Harmonic Mixers Capable to Frequencies up to 19.5GHz

( 1 Jan 2008 )

Hittite Microwave Corp.'s GaAs MMIC sub-harmonic SMT mixers are suitable for microwave radios, VSAT, test and measurement, instrumentation and military applications from 14.5GHz to 19.5GHz. The HMC258LC3B compact subharmonically pumped (x2) MMIC mixers have an integrated LO amplifier, and are available in a 3x3mm leadless ceramic SMT package.

The devices feature a wide IF bandwidth of DC to 3.5GHz, and high 2LO to RF isolation of 45dB, which eliminates the need for additional filtering. The products also feature a LO amplifier that requires no external matching components.
