Trendsmedia and Beacon Events Announce Call for Papers for WiMAX World Asia 2008 Conference & Expo

(Business News & Technology News, 5 Nov 2007)

Trendsmedia, the Events and Publishing Division of Yankee Group, and Beacon Events announced a call for papers for the upcoming WiMAX World Asia Conference & Expo. The event will be held March 18-20, 2008 at the Centara Grand - Bangkok, Thailand.

WiMAX World is recognized as Asia's most important event for the WiMAX and Mobile Broadband industry, bringing together senior executives, content providers, technology companies and regulatory experts. The oldest and largest WiMAX event series in the world having attracted over 20,000 professionals during the past four years, WiMAX World brings an unbiased viewpoint to the industry, and presents a balanced view of the promises and challenges of WiMAX in the context of the broader mobile broadband and mobile internet markets.

WiMAX World Asia will include a world class conference program with a focus on the business plans, business models and business and technology challenges that WiMAX operators are confronting in their deployment of WiMAX networks.

The industry is being invited to send their proposal and be in the spotlight at the industry's leading event—the most important gathering of the Asian WiMAX/Mobile Broadband industry.

The call for papers is open for the entire conference program, including plenary sessions (with a focus on the main strategic issues for the WiMAX and the Mobile Broadband industry) and parallel sessions (with a focus on service provider business cases, applications and devices, technology options, marketing, and regulation).
