Avago Technologies Launches Advanced MMICs With Broad Bandwidth Support for Test and Measurement Market
(Product News, 10 Oct 2007)
Avago Technologies has launched three new MMICs designed to address the complex needs of test and measurement equipment applications for wireless networks. The AMMC-6380, AMMC-6470 and AMMC-6350 microcircuits are suitable for test and measurement applications where highly accurate instrumentation and signal processing support for high-end frequencies are required.
Using a cascade design for high efficiency, Avago's AMMC-6380 is a DC to 80GHz traveling wave amplifier ideal for high gain and broad bandwidth applications. Avago's AMMC-6470 is a 40GHz to 79GHz power amplifier that runs with a low DC quiescent current of 300mA. The AMMC-6350 is a DC to 50GHz differential output power amplifier ideal for instrumentation applications. It has a gain of 5dB and a low quiescent current of 200mA.
All MMICs operate off a single +5 V and ship with on-chip matching for high performance.
