WiMAX Forum Selects Bureau Veritas ADT as First Asian Fixed and Mobile WiMAX Certification Testing Laboratory

The WiMAX Forum has selected Bureau Veritas' Advance Data Technology Corp. (ADT) as the first Asian certification test lab of both fixed and mobile WiMAX certification services. WiMAX is a technology that provides an alternative to cable/DSL for the "last mile" as well as mobile or personal broadband and is expected to have significant growth rates over the coming years. The WiMAX Forum, an industry-led and not-for-profit organization, was set-up to ensure compatibility and interoperability of equipment in this blossoming market.
