Beceem Communications introduces a baseband and RF chipset that supports all features of the Mobile WiMAX Wave 2 Profile. The BCS200 chipset includes advanced smart antenna technologies plus Beceem’s CMOS direct conversion radio. Features include greater than 25Mbps total throughput; more than 25 percent reduction in active power consumption and greater than 60 percent footprint reduction.
