Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers

( 1 Mar 2007 )

AR Worldwide RF/Microwave Instrumentation announces another model to its family of Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTs). Rated at 125W, the 125T18G26 is designed for the 18GHz to 26.5GHz range, while the 125T26G40 covers the 26.5GHz to 40GHz range. Designed for applications where wide instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and higher power output are required, the products provide readily available RF power for a variety of applications in test and measurement, including EMC RF susceptibility testing, industrial and university research and development, and service applications. The TWTs feature a built-in IEEE- 4888 (GPIB) interface, VSWR protection, gain control, RF output sample port, and provide monitoring of TWT helix current, cathode voltage, baseplate temperature and cabinet temperature. Featuring modular design of power supply and RF components, the TWTs allow for easy access and repair, as well as significant reductionin weight. AR Worldwide
