Directional Antenna

( 1 Mar 2007 )

The 5.8GHz, 8dBd VG-5808 omnidirectional antenna of Astron Wireless Technologies Inc. can be deployed indoors or outdoors and utilizes a micro strip collinear patch array technology that assures gain stability across the frequency band and provides a clean radiation pattern. The V5808 is built using an ABS plastic UV stabilized radome that ensures quality performance in all deployments. This 8dBd omni provides high gain, wide bandwidth and no field tuning is required to obtain maximum performance. Other specifications include: frequency range, 5.1GHz to 5.8GHz; impedance, 50Ω; VSWR, 2:1 (typical); power input, 10W (max.); and operating temperature range, -30ºC to 75ºC.
