Wireless Power Technology

( 1 Mar 2007 )

From desktops to countertops, consumers can now enjoy the convenience and safety of wirefree electric power technology at their home, work or on the road as WildCharge introduced true full-power wire-free electricity for mobile consumerelectronics.

Demonstrated the during the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the WildCharger is a flat, thin charging pad that is capable of delivering up to 90W of power–ample power to simultaneously charge and power most laptop computers and an assortment of small devices placed anywhere on itssurface.

Similarly, the WildCharger Mini delivers up to 15W of power, capable of simultaneously powering and charging three or four small devices such as cellular phones, portable music players, digital cameras and other products. The WildCharger and WildCharger Mini will be available toconsumers during the first half of 2007 and are expected to be offered at retailprices of about $100 and $40 a unit, respectively.Plans are underway to release a higher power unitin the near future.

The technology's universal applicability has sparked great interest from electronic, automobile, furniture and other manufacturing industries. Many companies in these industries are currently preparing to embed WildChargers in their products to beoffered to consumers worldwide in the near future.

“WildCharge's technology is more than a simple charging solution for mobile devices—it is a true revolution that will ultimately eliminate the array of tangled chargers, adapters and cords consumers currently deal with regularly,” said WildCharge President Izhar Matzkevich. “There's no ʻtrickle charge' here. Our technology delivers instant power to all WildCharge-enabled consumer electronic devices as if they are connected directly to an electric outlet, and, virtually any consumer electronic devicecan be readily WildCharge-enabled.”
