Micro-USBstandard compliant connectors from Hirose Electric

Hirose Electric Co. has completed the development of ZX Series connectors, the USB Micro-B interface. Providing USB Micro-B interface, the ZX Series delivers 10,000 mating/unmating cycles with contact resistance of 30mΩ and extraction force of 8N.

Plugs and receptacles have several configurations and mounting styles including top and bottom mount, reverse and mid-mount, and vertical mount. Typical applications include ultra-thin phones, data recorders, readers, cameras, PAs, headsets, and hand-held GPS units.
