Belden unveils three SDI/HD coaxial cables

(Product News, 27 Feb 2007)

Belden has unveiled three of its SDI/HD coaxial cables in the Banana Peel construction. The Banana Peel Composite Video cables—Product Nos. 1855A, 1505A and now, 1694A—not only set the industry standard for outstanding digital video performance, but also provide the convenience of installing multiple cables in a single pull.

Available in bundles of three, five, and six, the coaxial Models 1855A, 1505A, and 1694A are pre-timed to ensure delay difference of less than 5nm/100ft between coaxes. Each individual cable component is clearly marked and color-coded, so installers need only peel correct cables off center spline and terminate. Sweep-tested to 4.5GHz, cables are suited for HD/SDI video, component video, computer CAD/CAM, unbalanced analog or digital audio, and live studio, field, and mobile TV.
