SIXNET releases Industrial Ethernet Managed Switches

(Product News, 16 Feb 2007)

SIXNET has announced the Slim Line (SL) series of Industrial Ethernet Managed Switches, available in five-port (SL-5MS) and eight-port (SL-8MS) models, with up to two fiber optic ports. These switches feature a compact and slim package design that makes them ideal for applications where DIN rail space is a premium. Though they are small, these slim line switches still feature the industrial ruggedness.

Suited for applications where DIN rail space is limited, the Slim Line series includes 5- and 8-port models that support all IEEE 802.3 protocols and offer up to 2 fiber optic ports. Real-time, secure performance is delivered via RSTP for fast redundancy, SNMP for network management, VLAN for network segregation, and IGMP for multicast filtering. Intelligence and non-blocking wire-speed switching allow all ports to simultaneously communicate at 200 Mbps.
