NETGEAR Wireless-N networking products

NETGEAR has announced that its RangeMax NEXT Wireless-N Routers are the first wireless networking products in the industry to ship with the "Connect with Centrino" certification by Intel. The NETGEAR's RangeMax Wireless-N Routers (WNR834B and WNR854T) have successfully passed the certification process ensuring compatibility and interoperability with Intel Wireless-N, which will be shipping in Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology based notebooks by the end of January 2007.

The RangeMax Wireless-N Routers, Models WNR834B and WNR854T, are compatible and interoperable with Intel Wireless N, which is included in Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology-based notebooks. Units are equipped with NAT and SPI firewalls, Touchless WiFi security, 64- and 128-bit WEP encryption, and Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key. They also include Denial of Service attack protection, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, and Exposed Host for secure gaming.
