3Com Corporation has unveiled a new global technology partner program specifically designed to build and support a wide-array of third-party relationships with best-of-breed independent software and hardware vendors, systems integrators, service providers, consultants and the open source community. Called the 3Com Open Network (3Com|ON), the program creates opportunities for members to expand their market reach by developing solutions or practices that add value to 3Com's Open Services Networking (3Com OSN), IP telephony and security platforms. Together, 3Com and its partners will create new services and solutions that help customers manage, control and enhance their communications network infrastructure.
3Com|ON is designed to provide technology providers with a wealth of resources and support programs that facilitate the development and interoperability of their products and solutions with 3Com's technologies. 3Com|ON is the innovative engine that creates an ecosystem around 3Com OSN as well as the company's IP telephony and security platforms, providing tools and incentives to help members succeed. 3Com|ON furthers 3Com's approach and vision for open, interoperable solutions, best-of-breed innovation and use of open source applications to provide the customer with differentiated solutions to help manage their business.
