Bookham enhances tunable laser offering with two new iTLAs

Bookham has launched two versions of its fully-qualified LambdaFlex integrable Tunable Laser Assembly (iTLA).

The LambdaFlex Model TL5000VLJ offers L-band capability with in-service power adjustment, while Model TL5000VCJ brings in-service power adjustment to existing C-band iTLA. Laser and control electronics are pre-mounted on dedicated circuit board to facilitate integration into customer's systems. Units provide narrow line width, internal frequency dither generation, direct input path for TX trace tone functionality, dark tuning, and field programmable firmware.
