PCCW Mobile offers MOOV

(Business News & Technology News, 15 Dec 2006)

PCCW Mobile has launched "MOOV on mobile", making MOOV.now.com.hk's 60,000-song library available to PCCW mobile users via streaming technology.

The service is exclusive to PCCW mobile customers. Alongside PCCW's standard mobile tariff plans, users can choose to subscribe to "MOOV on mobile" through a special service-based plan for $68 per month. The plan provides 4,000 minutes of music streaming from the full "MOOV on mobile" library, along with 100 minutes of airtime. There is no additional GPRS charge for music streaming.

PCCW mobile customers can use a PC to compile their personalised playlists online and then enjoy the same playlist on a mobile phone. "MOOV on mobile" also provides eight pre-set playlists for 3G handsets, with song compilations in each playlist refreshing every 15 minutes.
