Performance Technologies Expands Family of Access Solutions

Performance Technologies has introduced the PCE385, a new quad T1/E1/J1 PCI Express telecom adapter. This newest addition to the company's industry-leading family of access solutions, the PCE385 includes an onboard MPC8280 PowerQUICC II RISC communications processor and is enabled by Performance Technologies complete suite of software offerings.
The PCE385 is enabled with NexusWare Core, Performance Technologies' comprehensive, highly integrated, Linux-based software distribution that provides a comprehensive development, integration and management environment designed to speed time-to-market for system engineers using Performance Technologies' solutions to build packet-based wireless and IP telephony systems. Additionally, Performance Technologies' software suite offers a number of signaling and communications protocols including SIP, SS7 MTP-2, ISDN and WAN connectivity with Frame Relay, HDLC, LAPD, and X.25.
Performance Technologies' complete line of high availability Advanced Managed Platforms provides an alternative to existing commercial and proprietary systems.
