Cingular and Motorola Release MOTORAZR v3i

(Product News, 20 Sep 2006)

Cingular Wireless and Motorola have launched the MOTORAZR v3i. Like its predecessors, the MOTOROKR E1 and the MOTOSLVR L7, the MOTORAZR v3i is another Cingular exclusive handset featuring iTunes, giving mobile music lovers another great option for enjoying their favorite PC-based music collections on one of Cingular’s most popular handset designs.

The MOTORAZR v3i is for those consumers who want the convenience of having one device that essentially does it all. The phone, fashionably colored Silver Quartz, comes packaged with everything music lovers need to transfer their favorite iTunes collections from the PC to the wireless phone, including a pre-installed 512 MB MicroSD card, a power charger, USB cable, stereo headset, 3.5 MM headset adapter, and desktop iTunes software.

The MOTORAZR v3i also features a color display for viewing album art. Music fans can randomly auto-fill or manually fill the mobile phone with playlists from their favorite music, audiobooks and podcasts from their iTunes library via a USB connection. The MOTO RAZR v3i pauses music automatically when users take a call and offers the ability to listen to music while messaging with friends or snapping a photo.

The Bluetooth-enabled MOTORAZR v3i is also rich in multimedia features, including a powerful upgraded 1.23 megapixel digital camera with an 8x digital zoom, video record and playback and Multimedia Messaging capabilities to boot. Cingular customers can also get the quickest access to their favorite online content with Cingular’s MEdia Net, which gives customers access to news and entertainment headlines, sports scores, financial quotes, local weather and more.

The MOTORAZR v3i is available exclusively in the U.S. through select Cingular Wireless retail locations or via for $249.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
